It only occurred to me recently that I am a fan of a kaleidoscopic composition, it was pointed out to me by someone observing my work and I completely agree. Here’s another example. Here I pair, note the pun, the lips of Hercules with the lips of my muse, whose lips are always a constant inspiration. Sometimes when people look at my work they think that it is done on a computer, and it is a surprise when they realize everything is cut my hand. Sometimes little imperfections please me because you can see a human touch, sometimes I correct them and sometimes I don’t. The title Is inspired by one of my favorite poets...Charles Baudelaire, The full quote is, “And yet to wine, to opium even, I prefer the elixir of your lips on which love flaunts itself; in the wasteland of desire your eyes afford the wells to slake my thirst.” Now that’s some purdy talkin’.
